[ad_1]Where Does Your Path Lead? We are all on a journey. A journey where we sometimes choose the path and sometimes the path chooses us. I like to believe more often than not that I choose my own path and I walk it at my own pace. In photography, you can blindly stumble along or make conscious choices and purposefully walk that path.

This year I decided to post an image a day edited in a style that is not my typical style and that strives to tell a story or evoke a reaction. I'm forcing myself to learn and gain skills, to walk a particular path that I have not been on before. I'm into day 57 and it has been a challenge but I feel that it is making me think more about my images and the edits I do on them. I've posted three (plus one dinosaur so that makes 4) of the daily images with my thoughts or commentary with each below to give you some idea of what I'm talking about.

So, where are you going with your photography? What path are you taking? If you are interested in increasing your skills or trying something outside of your comfort zone, here's what we have occurring in the next three weeks:

THIS SAT - Moonscapes and Mangroves, Landscapes under the full Moon. NEXT SAT - Intermediate Photography - learn all those things you know you should know but have not taken the time to really learn. AND the NEXT NEXT SAT - Dinosaur Discovery Workshop where we'll hunt dinos (seriously look for dino fossils) and punch our composition skills to the max.
