[ad_1]The Sky Stepped Up Last night we had a great crew down for the catching the Wave slow exposure workshop. Normally I have to give a lecture about how to stay safe and not get washed off the rocks at Cadillac Canyon. Not yesterday, the Canyon was as quiet and low as I have ever seen it. It made slow exposure wave photography virtually impossible.
But, as we frustratingly tried to shoot slow exposures of the small swell breaking on the beach, the sky stepped up and compensated for the lack of swell and water in the Canyon.
With the tiny swell and low tide, I climbed down into the Canyon and did a little light painting. First time I've ever been able to get down into it but the shot came out like I hoped.
We had a great night and all got some shots to be proud of!
