[ad_1]MegaPhotography Weekend #3 Reflections Benjamin Eriksson Photography and I have just wrapped up our MegaPhotography Weekend. Each of our weekend workshops is built around a theme and #3 was all about Wildlife, Whales and Astro Photography.
After being nearly blown off the island by wind, rain and hail the past two weekends, Ben and I were hoping that our MegaPhotography Weekend would land in better weather. It certainly did. We had near perfect conditions both days and even a crystal clear night sky for Astro.
We conducted 5 workshops with 10 great photographers who had the complete range of beginner to advanced photographer. Our workshops included Lightroom Editing, Basic (or Landscape depending on skill level), Wildlife, Astro and Whale photography.

We'd like to thank our supporters: The Sheltered Glamping Co. who provided the most glamorous tents complete with woodfires, electricity, queen-sized beds, extra doonas, beautiful woodlands and, of course, the gracious host who can howl like a Purple Hen better than anyone I know, Randall.
Wildlife Coast Cruises who provided us with one of the most exciting whale cruises of all time putting us on several pods of Humpback Whales and also the very very rare Southern Right Whales.
Samyang Optics Australia who provided us with lenses to loan participants that were especially useful for the Astro workshop
and MeFoto Australia for the use of Mefoto Globetrotter and Roadtrip tripods for the weekend
