I see bias in the way people automatically assume my more talented wife @shootlikeagrrrl is not a photographer and address any issues with me when she is in fact the brains and artistic director behind Photo Rangers. Have a look at any online photography forum and you will see the domination of male hegemony there.

Today I want to acknowledge, recognise and celebrate the artistic, technical and professional contributions made by women to our industry. Let’s change stereotypes and bias! .

Gloria Steinem, world-renowned feminist, journalist and activist once explained "The story of women's struggle for equality belongs to no single feminist nor to any one organization but to the collective efforts of all who care about human rights." So make International Women's Day your day and do what you can to truly make a positive difference for women.
