I had a One to One workshop at Cadillac Canyon last night. Expecting or at least hoping for a big swell to give us good subject matter for slow exposure photography. Unfortunately, it was low tide and a very small swell, the worst possible combination for Cadillac Canyon slow exposure shots. We opted to shoot the opposite direction to where the 'action' normally happens and was pleasantly surprised with the results. A change in priorities turned a rather lack lustre evening into a serene and beautiful canvas for photography. It's funny how a change in priorities changes the way you look at things and shifts perception to something that is better than the original idea. So this evening was all about a change in priorities and the mindfulness that came with it. Perfect.
