From the car park at Forrest Caves, take the staircase up and over the dune. At the bottom, hang a left and head towards the mass of red rock in the distance.
This giant rock hides 2 caves. The first is a small passageway through the rock from the ocean side to the beach.
The second is a massive cave with an opening to the ocean and a big hole in the roof – like a natural sunroof.
The best time to get into the caves is at low tide. At higher tides, there can be some nice wave action coming through both caves that also makes nice photos.
