Birds Eye View
This weekend will be the Island Whale Festival here on Phillip Island. We are conducting two events, a Whale and Wildlife Adventure Based Workshop and a Free Wildlife Seminar at the Island Information Centre (both require pre-booking, see the http://islandwhales.com.au/ for details).

To prepare for shooting wildlife and whales, we need to practice shooting quickly moving subjects. This week, I want to see your bird photos with particular attention to making sure you get the eye in focus.

To get the ‘bird’s eye’ you should be shooting in single point focus (if the bird is stationary) and aim the focal point right at the bird’s eye. Easier said than done! Here are a few I took just recently.

Let’s see your tack sharp bird’s eyes. You can take and tag/submit as many photos as you like, remember, this is your challenge. Be sure to tag this week’s photos on facebook and Instagram #photorangerschallenge27
